Fegely Rapid eLearning Tool
For this assignment I utilized Articulate 360 and the Dick and Carey Model of instructional design. Articulate 360 has multiple different authoring options. This module utilizes Articulate 360 Rise. This web tool facilitates the efficient creation of high-quality rapid elearning units. The Dick and Carey Model was used in order to assure that the assessment and instructional materials reflected the initial instructional goals and subsequent performance objectives. Satisfying the Dick and Carey Model process proved to be exhausting if not rewarding.
The following modules and assessment about being safe online were designed for preservice teachers. The different modules inform users of copyright, fair use, public domain, computer security, and online safety for both teachers and students. The two main modules and assessment can be navigated in a hierarchical manner with the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the web browser. There are multiple interactive practice sections including flashcards, fill-in-the-blank, and matching activities. The assessment for the modules is 9 questions and aligns to each of the modules’ performance objectives.
